This Wednesday, Valencia CF and Cristhian Mosquera signed a contract extension through until June 30th, 2026, which became effective upon his meeting the number of games stipulated in his contract to activate the clause.
The defender has begun to consolidate himself at the elite level this season, showing his potential. Under coach Rubén Baraja he has proven to be an important player in the present and future for Valencia CF.
The VCF Academy product has played 27 official matches this season (25 in LALIGA EA Sports and 2 in the Copa del Rey) and since Matchday 8, against Real Betis, he has played more than one entire half of the season as a starter.
